- Female Infertility (Ovulation Induction)
- Used in women with anovulation or PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome).
- Helps stimulate the ovaries to release one or more eggs (ovulation).
- Often used as an alternative to clomiphene citrate, with fewer side effects on the endometrial lining and cervical mucus.
- Unexplained Infertility or Ovulation Support in IUI/IVF
- Used to stimulate ovulation in timed intercourse or intrauterine insemination (IUI) cycles.
- May also be used in mild stimulation IVF protocols.
- Endometriosis-Related Pain or Fertility Issues
- Occasionally used to suppress estrogen and reduce endometrial growth.
